Sunflower is a photo book by Daido Moriyama, one of Japan's leading photographers. He became an assistant to Takeji Iwamiya and Eikoh Hosoe before going freelance. He began publishing his work in the mid-1960s and has since published numerous photo books. His works, such as "Nippon Photo Theater," "Goodbye Photography," "Hunter," "Mayfly," and "Light and Shadow," are considered masterpieces that are still talked about today. The works of this master of snapshots, who continued to take pictures all over the city, are so original that they can be recognized as Daido Moriyama at a glance, with their strong contrast and impactful monochrome, abstract expressions using blur and out-of-focus images, a vague erotic appearance, and a love full of humanity. This book is a collection of works from MMM (Daido Moriyama, Satoru Machiguchi, and Hisako Motoo's initial M), a label run by Satoru Machiguchi, headed by Match & Company, and edited with the motif of "flowers." It is reminiscent of Joel Meyerowith's "Wild Flower" and Robert Frank's "Flower Is". Edited by Hisako Motoo. Limited to 1000 copies. Numbered edition.
